Ever since I first knew about the Once Child Policy that China has I was super confused. First of all how did this start, i mean like who got the idea of starting and what was their intention. Why would they only limit the people to one child. i dont like the fact that people can only have one child. Also dont they have like people who brake the law and have more than one child ? And if people lie and have more than one child , then how in the world will the government keep a updated census count of their population. This is quite confusing
It came from the Chinese govt. in the cities I think if you have more than 1 kid there is a financial penalty but in rural areas people have actually been sterilized. Not good methods that said if their population continued to grow people would starve so something needed to be done
